Larry Wood

Larry Wood is General Manager of News/Talk 101.5 FM. Larry has years of experience in the radio business (starting at age 12 working at his dad’s radio station in Dyersburg). Larry and his wife Merideth have lived in Jackson since 1987, and they have one son (Art), a daughter-in-law (Angela) and two grandsons (Tate and Liam).

Larry has been at News/Talk 101.5 FM since 1995.

In addition to his job at News/Talk 101.5 FM, Larry serves on the board of the Friend2Friend Mentoring organization and on the board of the Jackson Theater Guild. Larry also served on the board of the Tennessee Association of Broadcasters for several years and was chairman of the TAB in 2007. Larry is also president-elect of the West Tennessee Chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
