Humboldt Police Officer Arrested

On or about March 6, 2009, shortly after 5:00 p.m., the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a violation of an Order of Protection that occurred at the Farmer’s Merchant Bank located at 388 Hwy. 45 West, Three Way, TN.

Melody A. Pierce, age 31, of 10029 South First Street, Milan, TN, accused Robert Kendall, age 26, of 4765 East Main Street, Humboldt, TN, of violating an Order of Protection. The investigation revealed that Ms. Pierce complaint did not support the allegation.

Ms. Pierce was charged with Filing a False Police Report. An appearance date has been set for April 14, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. in General Sessions Court, Division I before the Honorable Judge Hugh Harvey, Jr.

Ms. Pierce is presently on suspension with the Humboldt Police Department.
