Hardin County Bank Robbery

The Memphis Division-Jackson Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, and the Counce Police Department are requesting the public's assistance with the identification of the person or persons responsible for the robbery of the Hardin County Bank in Counce, Tennessee this morning. At approximately 8:40 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, a lone individual entered the Hardin County Bank branch located at 7115 Highway 57 in Counce.  The robber was wearing camouflage clothing, a mask covering his face, and gloves.  The robber was carrying a hand gun.  The robber walked to a teller position and demanded money.  After being given currency from the teller's cash drawer the robber exited the building.  He then ran into nearby wooded area.  No getaway vehicle was witnessed by bank personnel. Based upon witness interviews, the robber is believed to be a white male, and described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build, possibly in his mid-to-late twenties, wearing camouflage clothing and mask.
