The Madison County Sheriff’s Office recently announced the following promotions:
Lieutenant Anthony Heavner has been promoted to the rank of “Captain/Patrol Division Commander.” Lieutenant Heavner began his employment with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in September 1989. He is a September 2004 graduate of the School of Police Staff and Command at the Center for Public Safety of Northwestern University. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2007 and will receive a Master of Business Administration in August 2009 from Bethel College. Lieutenant Heavner was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in June 1997 and Lieutenant in 1999.
Sergeant Ronnie Bunch has been promoted to the rank of “Lieutenant” in the Warrants Division. Sergeant Bunch began his employment with our department in March 1998. Sergeant Bunch will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in May 2009 from Bethel College. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in July 2007 and is a member of the Madison County Tact Team.
Deputy Jeffrey Tullos has been promoted to the rank of “Sergeant” in the Warrants Division. Deputy Tullos began his law enforcement career in January 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2002 from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
These promotions will become effective on April 1, 2009.
