Missing Man - Cedric Owens Located
Cedric Maurice Owens, 38, of Jackson was located this
morning (May 1, 2009). He was reported missing by his wife after he left
their home in the 300 block of Roland Avenue around 1:30
a.m. on April 27. According to his wife, he left walking after a
An off-duty Hardeman County Sheriff's Deputy noticed
Owens walking east on Highway 64 between Bolivar and
Hornsby around 12:45 this morning. According to the
deputy, Owens appeared disoriented and lost. The deputy
stopped to render aid. Owens told the deputy that he
needed to go to the hospital. The deputy called an
ambulance that transported him to Bolivar General Hospital.
He was later transferred to Jackson Madison County
General Hospital. At this writing, Owens was in stable

The Jackson Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a
missing man- Cedric Maurice Owens, 38, of Jackson. He was last
seen walking from his residence in the 300 block of Roland Avenue
around 1:30 a.m. on April 27. According to his wife, the two had just
had a heated argument.
Mr. Owens reportedly has not called home or contacted any other
family members. He also has not reported to his place of
employment at UGN Corporation in Jackson, which his employer
describes as "very out of character".
He is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs135
pounds. He was last seen wearing a red "UGN" t-shirt, blue jeans,
and black Nike tennis shoes. He has no known medical conditions
and no known marks, scars, or tattoos.
