Carlock Nissan Burglary

Someone broke into the main office building at Carlock Nissan located at 495 Vann Dr.

The suspect entered the business by busting out the glass to the front door of the business. Once inside the suspect was able to steal a 42” flatscreen T.V. and a computer router.

Evidence found at the scene led Investigators to Dustin Smith, age 30. Investigators located Smith at his residence on Greenfield Dr in Jackson and took him into custody for Investigation of Burglary.

Smith admitted to the burglary and provided information that allowed police to recover the flatscreen T.V. Smith is being charged with Burglary, Felony Vandalism, and Theft of Property over $1,000. Smith will be formally arraigned at Jackson City Court on Tuesday at 8:00 am.

Investigation continues in a similar burglary at the Saturn dealership also on Vann Drive. The two incidents are believed to be related.
