Second Wind Dreams Become a Reality
DREAMS REALLY DO COME TRUE AT ELMCROFT OF JACKSON SENIOR LIVING
Jackson, TN - February 2, 2012-- Elmcroft of Jackson has embarked on an
exciting new venture to celebrate the lives of the residents they serve.
As part of the Second Wind Dreams Program, we are fulfilling lifelong
dreams at our communities.
At Elmcroft, our mission is to honor the generation that paved the way
for future generations. Recognizing that there is no age limit when it
comes to having hopes and dreams, our residents are celebrating the time
of their lives! These dreams have been brought to life because of our
mission and goal to continue to offer programs, services and a lifestyle
that will continue to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
When it making dreams come true, the sky's the limit and these dreams
come in all shapes and sizes.
For resident Nina Young, her dream was to play basketball one more time.
A west Tennessee native, she grew up playing basketball for Northside
High School. Upon graduation, she met her husband and found other
passions in cooking, entertaining, and shopping. She loves her family
which includes 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Thanks to the generosity displayed by numerous people at Union
University, Mrs. Young will be appointed an Honorary Coach for the Lady
Bulldogs game against Martin Methodist College on Saturday, February 4,
2012 at 2 p.m.
Young will receive an official Lady Bulldogs tracksuit and autographed
championship basketball during a special presentation during halftime.
At Elmcroft, residents enjoy many services and amenities such as three
fine dining meals each day, enriching activities to stimulate physical,
emotional and spiritual needs and housekeeping services. Licensed
associates are on hand to assist with medication and provide around the
clock monitoring for all residents.
