Sheriff Dept Investigates Theft From Chancery Court Clerk Office

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into a report of a theft from the Madison County Chancery Court Clerk’s office. 

On May 29, 2012, Pam Carter, the Chancery Court Clerk, reported that $500.00 was missing from an unlocked safe in her office.  The theft occurred on or about May 24, 2012. 

Ms. Carter reported the theft to the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury’s office.
