Jackson - Madison County General Hospital Displays World's Largest Heart

Jackson, Tennessee, June 6 , 2012 Jackson-Madison County General Hospital invites the community to see the world’s biggest heart displayed on the front lawn of the hospital on June 14 and 15!  Children and adults can walk through this exact replica of a human heart ( displayed on Skyline Drive) and learn how the body’s most important muscle works.  

The times are from 9 a.m. until Noon and 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. both days (June 14 and 15).

There will be lots of free activities for both the young and the young at heart. 

Kids activities include face painting, popsicle treats, coloring sheets and they can tour a real ambulance and visit the Jackson General Therapy Dogs. 

Adults can take advantage of free blood pressure checks, free Heartaware Risk Assessments and free heart healthy information.

The fun continues as the Tennessee Heart and Vascular Center invites you to Night of Heart at the Ball Park June 16. Game Time is 6:05 at Pringles Park.
