Our second "COFFEE WITH A COP" will be held Thursday (June 14th) starting at 8:00 a.m. at the McDonalds 1705 S Highland Ave Jackson.

Come by and meet Police Staff and Officers who work in the South Jackson area.

We at the Jackson Police Department recognize that the many times our contacts within the community are brief at best or happen during an emergency, sometimes adversarial, or emotional situation.

 Our community's input is important to us so the Department has set aside time for Command Staff and Officers who work in the community to “sit down together with our citizens to chat about issues that affect our community.”

“Your concerns matter to us.” We would like for you to come sit down, have a cup of coffee and talk about ways the Jackson Police Department's officers and staff could improve the approach in which, we communicate within the community we serve.

Chief Gill Kendrick in corporation with the McDonalds in this area will have our second “COFFEE WITH A COP”. On June 14, 2012 Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Officers of the Jackson Police Department will be at McDonalds on 1705 S. Highland to talk to residents of this community to get feedback, suggestions, and information on how we can do better to service this community.

We will ask those who would have time to fill out a 10 question survey to help us in our endeavors. If you have time Thursday morning June 14, 2012 8 A.M. come by and have coffee with a cop. If you have any questions please call Captain J. Truelove at 425-8315.
