Maxxguard Officer Charged With Sexual Battery
On Friday, June 15, 2012, at approximately 8:30 a.m., investigators of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received information of inappropriate sexual activity within the past two months of a 15-year-old female by her step-father.
Sheriff's Deputy investigators formally charged 38-year-old Fredrick Andre Gray, Sr., of Oakfield, TN,with Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure, Incest to wit: he touched and had sexual intercourse with his step-daughter/juvenile victim on more than one occasion.
According booking records, Gray is an employee of Maxxguard Inc. where his duties include armed security guard, said Sheriff Woolfork.
Fredrick Andre Gray, Sr. appeared before the Honorable Judge Hugh Harvey, Jr. for arraignment this morning. He was ordered not to have contact with juvenile and to surrender his handgun carry permit.
Bond was set at $75,000.00.
According to Sheriff Woolfork, Gray's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in General Sessions Court, Division I.

In response to the earlier release from Madison County Sheriff’s Department on the arrest of Fred Gray.
Mr. Gray has been employed at Maxxguard since October 2010. He was given a pre-employment drug screen and also completed all class room and firing range training. Mr. Gray was issued an armed security guard license after an extensive background check by the TBI and the FBI. His record showed no past charges or convictions. During his time with Maxxguard, Mr. Gray has worked several unarmed and armed posts. His work has been excellent; however, with these charges, Maxxguard has suspended Mr. Gray of all duties and in accordance with Tennessee law, has notified the Department of Commerce and Insurance, and the State will suspend his license until final judication of this case.
