Jackson Police Charge Travis Holliday with Second Degree Murder
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Jackson police were called about an assault at Breaker's Billiards, 701 S. Royal Street. Ken Brasher, 45, of Jackson, was found on the floor inside the business. The preliminary investigation indicates that Brasher was struck in the head with a blunt object following an altercation.
He was transported by ambulance to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and was later pronounced dead. His body was sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office in Nashville to determine the exact cause of death.
Travis Sentell Holliday was developed as a person of interest and surrendered himself to the police on Sunday June 17th.
Investigators have interviewed numerous witnesses and collected evidence. Based on the investigation Holliday has been charged with Murder, second degree.
Holliday will be arraigned in Jackson City Court on Wednesday, June 20th at 8:00 am.
