Obituary: Jacksonian Larry Belew, Father of Henry Co. Sheriff Monte Belew

A memorial service for retired Porter Cable employee and former Paris Manufacturing Co. worker Larry Bryant Belew of Paris was conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Randy Stephens officiated.

Visitation was Sunday.

Belew, 73, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at his residence.

His wife, Jackie Pinson Belew, survives. They were married on Aug. 8, 1964.

Born in Jackson on Jan. 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Finis Malcomb and Annie Bryant Belew.

He also leaves a son: Monte Belew of Paris; and two grandchildren: Amanda and Ashley Belew, both of Paris.
