Milan, TN Police Officer Arrested

Nashville, TN- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Milan Police Officer earlier this week after an investigation involving sexual misconduct.

Milan Police Officer Adam Scott Martin, age 39, of 242 Gann Road, Milan, TN, was arrested on July 3 and charged with one count of Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure against a 19 year old female. He was released from the Gibson County Jail the same date on $15,000.00 bond. His initial appearance date is July 10, 2012, in the General Sessions Court of Gibson County.

TBI began the investigation at the request of District Attorney General Gary Brown.
