(Sept. 14, 2012) Madison County, TN - On Thursday evening, shortly after 6:00 p.m., investigators
Daricus Robinson Shawwith the Madison County Sheriff’s Office observed a known sex offender violating the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry Law.
The investigation revealed that 35 year-old Daricus Robinson Shaw, of 9 Avalon Drive, Jackson, TN, was working at the Ring Toss booth for Geren Amusement Company at the West Tennessee State Fair at the Jackson Fairgrounds in Jackson, TN. He was taken into custody and transported to the Criminal Justice Complex/Jail without further incident.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Daricus Robinson was released from the Carroll County Jail on July 2, 2012, and failed to report to a law enforcement agency within the required forty-eight (48) hour time period.
Daricus Robinson Shaw was formally charged with Violation of Tennessee Sex Offender Registry Law. In 1998, he was convicted of Child Molestation and Sexual Battery in Atlanta, Georgia.
Arraignment has not been scheduled at this time.
