Humboldt Man Faces Multiple Charges After Fleeing An Accident

(Sept. 19, 2012) Jackson TN -- A Humboldt man faces charges related to an accident that occured on Monday evening.

At approximately 7:59 pm Monday evening Humboldt Police were dispatched to the area of Osborne St. and 17th Ave.

Upon arrival officers discovered an unoccupied vehicle that had struck a tree on the property of an unoccupied 17th Ave. residence.  The suspect, later identified as 35 year-old David Bradley Sikes, was later apprehended at 17th Ave. & Mitchell St.

Sikes was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Leaving the scene of an accident, & failure to maintain control of a vehicle.

Sikes was taken to Humboldt General Hospital where he was treated & released.

Sikes was later transported to the Gibson County Correctional Complex.
