Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday Jackson police were called to Jackson- Madison County General Hospital concerning a gunshot victim. A 32- year-old Jackson man told police that he was with a group of people on Camelot Cove. He told officers that he didn't know their names. The shooting victim said that someone started arguing with the people who he was with. Shots were fired and he was struck in the hand and leg. He was transported to the emergency room by private vehicle. The shooting victim could not provide a description of a shooter.
Police went to the scene and recovered bullet shell casings in the street on the 40 block of Camelot Cove.
The man was treated and released from the hospital.
