Humboldt Police Investigate A Robbery At Bank Night Deposit

(Sept. 28, 2012) Humboldt TN - Humboldt Police are investigating a robbery of an individual depositing money in a night drop at a bank located in the 1200 block of Main Street.  

On September 25,2012, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Humboldt Police responded to a complaint concerning a female employee of a local business making a deposit of funds into the night drop when an unknown person ran from around the corner, attacked the employee and wrestled a money bag containing an undisclosed amount of money from her and then left, running towards Main Street.  

The robber was described as a black male in early to mid 20's, approximately 5'6" to 5' 8" tall and weighing between 150- 170 lbs.  The suspect wore a black hoodie, dark pants and had a red bandana over his face.
