Prepare for a fun, free ladies night out! Be at Yada Sisterhood at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 in Hope Hall of Northside United Methodist Church, 2571 North Highland Avenue in Jackson. October's event will be crazy fun when the Rev.Terry Presson from Selmer comes to town with his special gift of wit and wisdom -- and we'll be having birthday cake to celebrate eight years of ministry to women in the West Tennessee area.
Some would say Rev. Presson is an "ordained hoot" which is code language for loving Jesus and having a good time doing it! Even though this is his first time to speak at Yada, he is a very familiar face to many the Jackson area -- he recently served as an associate pastor at Northside United Methodist Church. Rev. Presson has a gift for teaching; he is passionate about his relationship with the Lord and about seeing others grow and mature in their relationship with the Lord, too!
Yada Sisterhood is free and ministers to women in this region from ages 18 to eighty-eight from any race or denomination. Expect one of the biggest potluck's you've ever seen because Yada's motto is "Bring a Dish and Bring a Friend!" Reserved tables are available for groups of six or more and free childcare is provided. The color for October is Yellow.
