Registered Sex Offender Arrested in Madison County

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into the report of a registered Tennessee Sex Offender inappropriately touching three female juveniles at Cornerstone Apostolic Church located on Mifflin Road, Jackson, TN, on or about September 21, 2012.

Richard Rushton, age 52, of 28 Warfield Cove, Jackson, TN, has been formally charged with Sexual Battery. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in General Sessions Court, Division I. Bond was set at $100,000.00.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is also continuing their investigation into allegations of Richard Rushton videotaping under the dresses of several other females.
