27th Drug Task Force, Makes Marihuana (marijuana) Related Arrests In Trenton

MARIHUANA (marijuana) RELATED ARRESTS MADE BY THE 27TH DRUG TASK FORCE IN TRENTON

On Saturday October 27th 2012 Agents of the 27th Drug Task Force from Obion and Weakley Counties were following up on an Investigation that originated in their district and obtained and executed a search warrant at 28 Bradford Highway outside of Trenton Tennessee.

An Agent from the West Tn. Violent Crime and Drug Task Force and Deputies from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the search. The Agents seized approximately 14 pounds of Marihuana (marijuana), Drug Paraphernalia, $14,000.00 cash, and three vehicles.

A mother and son were charged. Those arrested and their charges are:

1. Tristan Sowell – Male – 29 y.o.a. – 28 Bradford Highway, Trenton Tennessee
Possession of Schedule VI – OVER 10 POUNDS
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

2. Janet Pigue – Female – 49 y.o.a. -28 Bradford Highway – Trenton Tennessee
Possession of Schedule VI – OVER 10 POUNDS
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Both Defendants have been incarcerated at the Gibson County Jail and will be arraigned before Judge Agee of Gibson County General Sessions Court.
