Police Investigate Convenience Store Armed Robbery

At 3:30 a.m. Monday, Jackson police were called about a robbery at Phillips 66, 1929 U.S. 45 By-Pass.

A man entered the business and asked for a pack of cigarettes. He then pulled out a gun and demanded money. The clerk met his demands, and he left on foot.

The robber was a black man with a large build. He was wearing a white baseball cap with the letters "NY", a dark colored hoodie and blue jeans.
