Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit served a narcotics search warrant at 114-A First Street east Jackson which led to the arrest of two persons. The search of the premises revealed approximately 9.1 grams of Crack Cocaine in multiple packages, approximately 4.2 grams of Marijuana in four separate packages, digital scales and drug packaging materials. A gold chain and $95 in U.S. currency which are believed to be the proceeds of drug sales were seized under the civil forfeiture laws of the Tennessee Drug Control Act. The drugs seized have an estimated street value of $925.
Tyler Wayne Banes, age 47, of 114-A First Street in Jackson was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits arraignment in Jackson City Court.
Robert Bailey, Jr., age 47, of 99 Cloverdale in Jackson was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex where he awaits arraignment in Madison County General Sessions Court.
