Armed Robbery Investigation

Nov 27, 2012, JACKSON - The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into the Monday armed robbery of the Mifflin General store located at 2096 Beech Bluff Road, Jackson, shortly before 6:00 p.m.

The investigation revealed that a black male approached the clerk and pointed a neon green bag at the clerk and demanded money.  The clerk believed a gun was inside the bag and gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. 

The suspect was described as approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, 170 lbs., slender build wearing a mask over his face with a blue and white bandana covering the mask.  He was wearing a dark colored hoodie jacket pulled over his head and what appeared to be black flip flops with white socks.
