EMAIL RECEIVED FROM JON ELLIS Friday June 19, 2009
Here is the part of the narrative Mr. Ellis is responding to.
“Many have rumored and speculated about Jonathon Ellis’s intentions for the property. Mr. Ellis’s press release says “As a native of Jackson, Mr. Ellis has been interested in assisting with the revitalization of the Lambuth neighborhood” However to the many involved in that effort dating back 22 years they have never heard of Mr. Ellis. Active members say he has not attended LANA meetings or made himself known to those who have been most involved in the revitalization work. According to the press release “There is no dispute that all the parties share a common goal” That may be how Mr. Ellis feels but city officials have expressed concerns publicly about what Ellis’s plans are for the properties.”
EMAIL:
Hey Keith – I really appreciate the fair reporting that you have done on this Lambuth thing. You’re a true professional.
But, there is one thing in your narrative that is not correct or at least not completely accurate. You mention that there is no knowledge of me attending any LANA meetings. Although, I am not the most active member, I have attended several meetings and other events that benefit the association and we have donated to the Christmas Home Tour that they host. The proof of this is in the following link. Go to page 16 and in the picture look at the guy in the bottom of the picture sitting on the Left side of the aisle. That’s me.

Just thought I would make that quick correction.
Looking forward to sitting down with you when all the smoke clears; hope you understand that I want the parties involved to settle this and not the media. Surely, this will end soon so I can get started with actually making some progress on this revitalization program and quit arguing with the organizations that I am trying to work with and help.
