Northwest Airlink flight 2135 makes any emergency landing in Jackson at McKeller Sipes Airport. 31 passengers on board no injuries.
At 6:46 P.M. Jackson Fire Department and other 1st responders were notified of an NWA fight coming in to MKA for an emergency stop. The pilot and crew were alerted to a possible fire in the cargo area by a light on the control panel. The flight landed safely and the passengers were deplaned. No fire was located.
The plane was enroute from Nashville to Memphis. The palne is a twin engine. The airlink is operated by Pinnacle Airlines.
