The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into a hit-and-run accident with injuries that occurred in the 2800 block of Christmasville Road, Jackson, TN, shortly after midnight on or about August 23, 2009.
The investigation revealed that the victim, Susan M. Pride, age 38, of 695 Watson Road, Jackson, TN, was walking southbound on Christmasville Road when she was struck by a trailer that had
detached from a 1994 green Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Victim received multiple injuries, including a broken leg and lacerations to her head. She was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and was later admitted. Her condition is listed as stable.
On August 24, 2009, Jerry M. Malone, age 46, of 3843 Christmasville Road, Medina, TN, was formally charged with Driving on a Revoked License (4th Offense), Driving while Restricted (Habitual Offender) and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. His arraignment has been scheduled for August 25, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. in General Sessions Court, Division I before the Honorable Judge Hugh Harvey, Jr.
