42 year old Travis Godwin says he was led by a friend to a house with the intent of making a purchase that turned out to be vacant.
Godwin says the sellers instead robbed him of a large sum of money. He also says he and his friend were shot at multiple times. While trying to escape Godwin was shot in the back. He was able to drive to a convenience store at Parkway and North Royal where an ambulance was called. Godwin was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Godwin gave investigators a description of the suspects, black males driving a small grey car.
