On Tuesday January 19th the station promotion director and originator of the WNWS Downtown Jackson Mardi gras Parade, Harrell Carter, announced the 10th Annual event.

Children's Parade to be held Saturday before Fat Tuesday

The parade will be at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday February 16th
The King and Queen Ball will be Monday February 15th at the Downtown Tavern
The Masquerade Ball will be Tuesday February 16th at Miss Ollies
