West Tenn Chapter ADDY AWARDS

On Wednesday the West Tennessee Chapter of the America Advertising Federation hosted their 2009/10 Addy Awards event. The competition is to highlight the best in advertising creativity in our area. At Wednesday’s program 26 awards were handed out. There were four gold awards to three recipients. The gold award winners were DCA/DCPR, Bramblett Group, and Sodium Halogen. News/Talk 101.5 received a Silver Award for a Lynwood Wine and Spirits AD titled Secret Service and a Bronze Award for A Jackson Battery Service Campaign called … Real Life Nightmares. Sea Bass Writer and Talent and Greg Wood Producer and Talent were honored for both spots. The awards recognize creativity in the field of advertising and the competition is open to anyone who has produced an ad. You do not have to be a member of American Ad Federation to participate. Ads are all judged equally regardless of their medium, Print, Video, Radio, Internet / Interactive. In March the West Tennessee Chapter will host the District competition which includes the southeast states Tennessee, Alabama Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
