On Friday night, March 12,2010 at approximately 11:25 p.m., Humboldt Police responded to a report of a person shooting a gun in the parking lot at the Entertainment Center on west Main Street. No one was injured and the person(s) responsible for the shooting left prior to the arrival of police. Approximately an hour and a half later police responded to another report of a drive-by shooting at 8th Avenue and Brown Street. No one was seriously injured. Police are investigating whether this shooting could have been related to the previous shooting at the Entertainment Center. Police have collected evidence and questioned witnesses and are now looking for a green Neon sedan that may have been involved.
