On May 14, 2010, at 12:00 noon, the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Jackson Police Department, and the Eighth District of Tennessee Highway Patrol sponsored a memorial service for those officers killed in the line of duty.

The purpose is to honor the officers who died and their surviving family members. We want to let the family members know that we, in law enforcement, will not forget those officers that made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting this community and beyond.
