Grand Jury Indicts Joseph Spellings
A federal grand jury has Joseph Spellings of Trenton on two counts of using a computer or cell phone to send obscene images to a young girl.
Joseph Spellings a captain with the National Guard, is accused of using MySpace to engage in sexually explicit conversations with a girl, younger than 16 and using the internet to send her nude photos of himself. Spellings, 29, is charged with transferring obscene images to a minor and coercion and enticement, according to his arrest warrant
Following his April arrest, he was relieved of his duties at UT-Martin as ROTC instructor. He is currently free on $25,000 bond and has been ordered to remain on house arrest.
