Found Black Dog on Ramblewood

I found a lost dog Saturday night on Ramblewood.  I was coming home from the grocery and there was a black dog in the middle of the road close to George Smith Funeral Home.  He followed me home.  My husband drove the neighborhood and we posted “lost dog” signs with our phone number.  The only calls we got were for a lost Yorkie.  This dog is probably a year or so old, maybe two.  Not quite sure, but he appears to still have a little bit of puppy in him.  He’s about 55 pounds and has a real pretty black coat.  He is a short haired dog.  I don’t know how much to describe him, because I want the owners to identify him.  He did not have a collar on or any tags.  Nothing that tells me where he belongs.  I kept him in the garage Saturday night and now a friend has him until we can find his parents.   I will give you my cell number to post or give out,  It’s 697-1454.  My work is 423-2200, ext. 120.
