Rick Williams

Rick has been in the media business for 10 plus years. He has been involved in radio for years and also had a 4 year stint in the print media. Born and raised in Milan, TN….some years back!

Rick has always been a people person. From an early age he realized he had a knack for music and pursued just that. After graduating from the old Milan high school in 1973 he set sail for a life of entertainment in California. Actually he was sent to San Diego, CA. For a 6 year commitment in the US Navy. While in the navy he met some people with the same musical interest and started playing local venues.

After a stay in San Diego Rick was transferred to Pensacola Florida. That’s all it took! Beach, bars, and babes! Rick started performing all along the gulf coast from Pensacola to Panama City Beach, and eventually went on the road in the southeast and even went up to Alaska for two weeks and ended up staying and performing for two years.

Now back in Jackson working with 101.5 radio he still performs locally and probably will never stop. Rick met and married his wife Leanne and she has somewhat tamed him into playing part time. Rest of story still to come.
