KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee coach Derek Dooley says
cornerback Eric Gordon had a setback in recovering from his second
concussion in three weeks.
Gordon was hit during Tuesday's practice and is day-to-day as
the Volunteers continue to prepare to face Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Dooley moved the second half of the practice indoors after the
outdoor practice field got especially wet from rain. Dooley says he
didn't want to risk more injuries to the Vols.
Two players injured during Saturday's win over Mississippi, wide
receiver Zach Rogers (concussion) and free safety Janzen Jackson
(ankle) practiced wearing non-contact jerseys.
Freshman quarterback Tyler Bray, who was named Southeastern
Conference freshman of the week on Monday, credited his success in
the past two weeks to Tennessee's abundance of wide receiver
