The Generals will look to fill part-time game-day positions for the 2012 baseball season that, if selected, will be instrumental in assisting the Generals front office in continuing to provide top-notch guest services to each and every fan that visits Pringles Park. Applicants should be fun, energetic and dependable, all while contributing to the fan-friendly environment and experience.
Returning seasonal employees who worked at Pringles Park last year will not need to attend the job fair, provided that they have spoken to their supervisor to ensure employment for the 2012 season. The team will interview only for the following positions this season:
Mascot/Entertainers/Cast Members: The Generals are looking for a key component for their 2012 season. Do you like to have fun? Are you responsible? Do you like to make sure everyone around you is having fun? If you answered yes, then you might just be perfect to be a summer cast member for the Generals. You will be part of the show as well as hosting our fans and helping them in every aspect. Included in "Cast Members" is our mascot, Sarge, and other entertainment positions that will entail dressing up in various costumes, dancing, and just having fun. Fun Zone Attendant: operate the inflatables and play area
Generals Store Associate: requires great organizational skills, ability to complete sales, and maintain inventory accurately
Ticket Office Representative: responsible for selling tickets and working game-day in the ticket office, and handling fan issues that should arise
Ticket Taker: responsible for greeting fans and for the scanning of each fans ticket for admittance to Pringles Park
Bat Boy: maintain a clean baseball environment for all the players, coaches, and umpires, working not only during games on the field but before and after games.
Concessions/Catering Staff: cashiers, runners, suite staff and support staff to make sure all areas of the food and beverage department are running efficiently. Customer satisfaction and a SMILE is a top priority.
Kitchen Cooks/Staff: will handle many kitchen appliances and tools while maintaining a pace to handle suite level catering, picnics and concourse food service needs. Individuals with some cooking experience is preferred. Kitchen Crew responsibilities include food preparation, cooking and cleaning.
Gameday Stringer: be able to be at all 70 home games and work with official scorer on entering in scoring for the gameday feature on MiLB.com. Must have great knowledge of baseball scoring and do training with system.
Other Positions: Suite Host and Alcohol Compliance Personnel
All applicants must be 18 years or older.
