The Lookouts jumped ahead in the third inning with a run on an RBI triple by Jake Lemmerman.
Jackson tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth inning with a two out RBI single by Mike Zunino.
The Lookouts big inning Sunday was the bottom of the fifth. They took advantage of three James Gillheeney walks and an error - then got a bases loaded triple from Bobby Coyle to go up 4-1.
The Generals countered the Lookouts in the top of the sixth inning by getting a 2-run homer to left by Stefen Romero and a solo shot by Zunino. It was the 10th homer for Romero and third for Zunino.
With the game tied 4-4 in the ninth, Francisco Martinez, pinch running for Joe Dunigan scored on a single by Nate Tenbrink giving Jackson a 5-4 lead.
Closer Logan Bawcom walked one and struck out one in the bottom of the ninth, getting his second save of the series and 17th of the season.
Mike Zunino was 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI Sunday, upping his average in nine games to .406. Chih-Hsien Chiang was 2-for-4 on the day.
Starter James Gillheeney did not factor in the decision and allowed 4 runs (1 earned) on 4 hits in 4.2 innings of work on the mound, striking out 4 and walking a season high 6 batters. Jonathan Arias walked one and struck out 2 in 2.1 innings behind Gillheeney. Yoervis Medina (5-5) earned the win pitching a scoreless eighth inning for Jackson.
