South Side Football Coach Jerry Hayes Resigns

Jackson South Side principal Anita Tucker confirmed that footbal coach Jerry Hayes has resigned his position, "coach Hayes will continue in his duties through the remainder of the school year"according to Tucker. Coach Hayes leaves with an overall record of 154-116 including an unbeaten regular season and two trips to the semi-finals. Princpal Tucker added "coach Hayes loves SSHS and Hawk football". Coach Hayes does love Hawk football, and it showed for twenty-eight seasons.
