Three released from UT football program

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee defensive back Deion Bonner, and defensive linemen Omari Phillips and Trent Taylor are no longer with the football program. Their departures were first reported Tuesday by the Knoxville News-Sentinel and were confirmed by athletic department spokesman Jimmy Stanton. All three players were freshmen this season.
