South Side blasts Liberty in title tilt

South Side lead 41-29 at the half, then cruised to 73-52 win over Liberty for the Region 7AA boys championship. South Side was lead in scoring by Jalen Barford (19), Malik Hicks (18), and Wray Fuller (14). Daniel Hill lead Liberty with 31 points. South Side will host Sheffield in a sectional game Monday at 7pm on Jackson's News/Talk 101.5FM. Liberty will play Mitchell Monday in Memphis. In other Region title games MAHS beat TCA 59-50, Humboldt 57 Lake Co. 46, Dyer Co. 94 Craigmont 53. TCA will play at Humboldt in a sectional game Monday at 7pm
