KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee's season opener against
Tennessee-Martin has been set for a pay-per-view broadcast.
The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start Sept. 4 and will air on
VideoSeat Pay-Per-View. It's the only Vols game that will be
broadcast pay-per-view this season.
The Vols' meeting with the Skyhawks is their first against a
Football Championship Subdivision team since defeating The Citadel
45-6 on Oct. 1, 1983. Tennessee is the only Southeastern Conference
team that hasn't faced an FCS opponent since the league expanded in
1992.
The opener is part of a four-game homestand. The Vols will host
Oregon at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11, Florida at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and
UAB on Sept 25. The UAB game time has not yet been determined.
