Jackson South Side shutdown JCM Friday night 16-0 in The News/Talk 101.5FM Prep Game of The Week. The two old rivals met in front of a less than capacity crowd at Hawk Stadium. South Side scored on the games first play from scrimmage when Will Diggs ran around right end and set sail on a 70 yard T.D. run. South Side led 14-0 at the half, a Hawk safety was the only scoring in the second half. Former Hawk Head Coach Jerry Hayes was the half-time guest and told 101.5FM's Seabass not to rule him out of the Coaching game just yet, "I would coach again if, the situation were just right" Hayes said. South Side improves to 1-3 with the win, JCM drops to 0-5. Jackson North Side laid a "Platinum Mule" on Brighton 51-21. Congrats to Tab Vowell and the Indians, off to a 5-0 start. Liberty beat Fayette-Ware 54-0 to earn the Region's first "Diamond Mule" of the season. North Side(5-0) will travel to Liberty(4-0) next Friday night in The News/Talk 101.5 FM Prep Game of The Week.
