North Side stayed unbeaten in a instant classic Friday night with a hard fought 21-20 win at previously unbeaten Liberty Tech. Trailing 20-7 mid-way through the 4th Quarter, North Side converted three 3rd downs on a 70 yd scoring drive to pull within 6 points on a Adam Craig TD strike. Following the ensuing kickoff, the Indian Defense forced Liberty to a three and out. North Side then blocked Liberty's punt and recovered the ball at the Crusader 25 yd line. Facing a 3rd down and 5 at the Liberty 2o yard line, QB Adam Craig found WR Kirby Ross in the end zone for the game winner. Miguel Villegas added the point after and North Side had their first lead of the game. Liberty drove inside the N.S. 5 yd line in the finals seconds but could'nt score. More than 3,500 fans packed Crusader stadium to watch the classic game. North Side improves to 6-0, Liberty falls to 4-1. Next week Liberty plays at South Side, North Side has the week off. Next Friday's Game of The Week has USJ traveling to JCS.
