Dooley moves up Vols' practice time

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee coach Derek Dooley wasn't too happy with how the Volunteers played in their first early kickoff. He's trying to get them a little better prepared for their second one. With the players on fall break on Thursday, Dooley is moving practice time up to 12:30 p.m. to get the Vols acclimated to the 12:21 p.m. kickoff they'll be faced with Saturday at Georgia. Tennessee kicked off at 12:21 for what turned out to be a double-overtime win against UAB on Sept. 25. At least one Vol likely won't play against the Bulldogs (1-4, 0-3). Senior placekicker Daniel Lincoln hurt his groin late last week, and Dooley says he won't use him in the game unless he's 100 percent. Sophomore offensive tackle Dallas Thomas, who hurt his ankle at LSU last Saturday, has practiced this week, but Dooley isn't sure if he'll play.
