CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati's Bengals are playing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers in tonight's NFL game. A year ago the Bengals won the AFC North but this year find themselves in last place with just two wins against five defeats. The Steelers come in to the game at 5-and-2. DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Coach Tony Sparano (spah-RAH'-noh) of the Miami Dolphins says he'll be asking the NFL to look into the allegation of linebacker Channing Crowder that Baltimore running back Le'Ron McClain spit in his face during Sunday's game. Sparano says he has sufficient evidence to pursue the matter with the league. PITTSBURGH (AP) - The top-25 college basketball season gets under way tonight as the Pitt Panthers and Fighting Illini of Illinois have games. The fifth-ranked Panthers are home to Rhode Island, while the 13th-ranked Illini are home to UC Irvine. DETROIT (AP) - In the lone NHL game of the night, Detroit's Red Wings are home to Phoenix.
