Man Arrested on Armed Robbery and Narcotics Charges

Michael Bailey was denied bond on charges of aggravated robbery, possession of cocaine for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to go armed. Police arrested Bailey on Friday after a Milan man who said he was robbed at 1150 Hollywood Drive identified him.

The judge denied Bailey bail, because Bailey violated his probation. According to police at the time of his arrest, Bailey was found in possession of a firearm, more than 35 grams of suspected cocaine and more than 14 grams of suspected marijuana,.
 

The Jackson Police Department arrested Michael Lee Bailey at 935 Hollywood about 9:40 last night after a Milan man identified him as having robbed him moments before at 1150 Hollywood.

At the time of his arrest, Bailey was found to be in possession of a firearm, over 35 grams of suspected cocaine and over 14 grams of suspected marijuana.

Bailey is being held on $75,000 bond at the Madison County Jail. He will be formally arraigned Monday on charges of Aggravated Robbery, Possession of Cocaine for Resale, Possession of Marijuana for Resale and Possession of a Deadly Weapon with intent to go armed.
