MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF
CONCERNED ABOUT "VERY SERIOUS" TELEPHONE PROBLEMS WITH LOCAL PROVIDER.
Sheriff David Woolfork states in a letter to County
Commissioner John Newman "we are still experiencing numerous problems
with our telephone service. I consider this very serious since the
safety of our citizens and the officers responding to the calls for
service are in jeopardy. "
Sheriff Woolfork goes on to "STRONGLY RECOMMEND" reinstatement of the
previous phone system.
In a bid agreement process, county phone service was awarded to AENEAS
INTERNET AND TELEPHONE for lines and MAIN STREET CONNECTIONS for
equipment.
